Breakout sessions at the National Small Group Conference are designed to equip pastors, discipleship leaders, and small group teams with practical tools they can apply immediately. Each tour stop features a curated lineup of sessions led by experienced practitioners, addressing the real challenges churches face today—from developing healthy leaders and sustainable systems to fostering authentic community and long-term spiritual growth.

CONFERENCE FORMAT
Pre-Conference
It's important to have an atmosphere that allows for safe and open discussion. Our hope is to model at a macro level what a healthy group experience should look like on a micro-level. Everyone sits at tables with no more than eight people per a table so everyone contributes to the conversation. Discussion guidelines and boundaries are provided by the speakers ahead of time.
Conference
A conference where you do more speaking than the speaker! That's our goal! Groups are all about discussion so why would we format a Groups workshop that was anti-discussion? The most valuable part of this workshop is you talking with other pastor/directors, brainstorming, verbally processing, and hearing ideas from others and not just the speakers!
